Good morning all you bakery lovers. Today we will be talking about banana bread. At the Cawroots Headquarters, we decided to make a banana loaf and we were mesmerised at how much impact the implementation of our Cawroots Cinnamon and Nutmeg had on the taste of the bread. In a climate where it's constantly raining and riddled with freezing conditions, we often find ourselves stuck in the house with nothing to do and making banana bread could be a perfect way to entertain ourselves during the day.

Ingredients:

-   2 cups of flour

-   1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder

-   1 teaspoon of baking soda

-   4 very ripe bananas

-   2 eggs

-   1 cup of sugar

-   1 teaspoon Caw Roots Cinnamon

-   ½ teaspoon salt

-   ½ teaspoon Caw Roots Nutmeg

-   ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

-   ½ cup melted butter

-   1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:

1)   Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 8 by 3-inch loaf pans. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda then set aside.

2)   Mash the bananas, eggs, sugar, Cawroots Cinnamon, salt, Caw Roots Nutmeg, and cloves together in a large bowl with a fork until well combined. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract, then fold in the flour mixture until a batter forms and no dry lumps remain. Pour into the prepared loaf pans.

3)   Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
